Our Performance Body Work program examines range of motion, flexibility, joint stability and strength as they relate to the golf swing. These services are ideal for you if you are a golfer who has a past, current or chronic injury that is affecting your ability to play golf. Our services will help you not only alleviate current pain, but also prevent future injuries and maximize your potential.

Service Menu:

Performance BodyWork Evaluation (90 minutes)				

A Licensed Medical Professional will conduct a thorough musculoskeletal evaluation, including the use of the Posture Pro V2, Postural Assessment Tool.  This evaluation will examine your range of motion, flexibility, joint stability and strength as they relate to your golf swing.  Your specific physical swing faults will be identified with use of on-site 2-D Video technology. 
After completion of the Performance BodyWork Evaluation, our Licensed Medical Professional will be able to create a unique treatment prescription to correct any imbalances or impedances to your golf swing.  The end result is a full written report recommending your personalized service intervention as well as an individualized corrective exercise program.

Individual BodyWork Session (30 minutes)		

This treatment consists of a one-on-one hands-on session with our Licensed Medical Professional.  Joint and soft tissue mobilization is a safe and effective way to increase the flexibility of impaired muscles and joints.  These highly effective techniques address issues that result when tissues come under tension during your swing.  These techniques will allow a smooth, fluid golf swing free from tight muscles and tissues that cause pain and swing faults.

Additional techniques that may be utilized with this service include: 

A.	Graston Technique® - a tool assisted soft tissue technique
B.	Vibracussor® Technique – a mechanical soft tissue compression approach
C.	Active Isolated Stretching - The Mattes Method for Golf.
D.	ATM2 – Upright treatment table used to minimize the effects of muscle imbalances and acute pain while re-setting the neuromuscular system.
E.	MAT - Gets to the root of pain or injury by addressing muscle weakness rather than muscle tightness. This helps to restore normal body alignment, thereby, decreasing pain and reducing the risk of injury.

Corrective Exercise Session (30 minutes)			

Our licensed medical professional will help you implement your personalized corrective exercise program created during the Performance Body Work Evaluation.  This exercise approach focuses on the minimizing muscle imbalances that specifically effect swing technique.

Golf Stretch Session (20 minutes)

This one-on-one hands-on session uses a variety of techniques to increase mobility, prepare the system for activity and facilitate recovery.  This session is the perfect way to warm-up and prepare for a round of golf, a long day of practice or to utilize as a post-round recovery tool.

Golf Specific Massage Session (45 minutes)

The golf-specific massage will focus on the muscles impacted by your golf swing.  This session is a great recovery tool after play, practice and/or in preparation for competition.
